Sgt. Pepper's Cafe, the home of the horseshoe, invites you to Edwardsville and Wood River for your next meal! What is the horseshoe, you ask? A horseshoe is your choice of steak burger, ham, turkey, or roast beef, served on toast and topped with french fries. This stack is then topped with your choice of cheese sauce - either homemade spicy white cheese or famous golden cheese sauce. They even have ponyshoes for those of you with smaller appetites.
The breakfast ponyshoe is another specialty of the house at Sgt. Pepper's. The breakfast ponyshoe is a biscuit topped with your choice of sausage, bacon or ham, 2 eggs, country potatoes or hashbrowns and then the whole thing is smothered in sausage gravy.
Breakfast is served all day and there are a variety of sandwiches, salads and entrees to suit everyone in the family. Beatles memorabilia covers the walls and 60's standards play over the speakers, ensuring a good time while eating some of the best down home food the area has to offer.
